LORE - Traditions and stories, facts and fictions, a tapestry of knowledge with its origins in the anecdotes of our ancestors, evolved by our own education and experiences. Sharing the lore of our lives is a tether to our past and a unique and personal expression of our present, a part of being human.

I've been lucky to acquire the lore of a long life, my posts ebb and flow with the unraveling of hours and the tides of creative energy.

My inspiration to create is stronger than my motivation to publish. I can be fearless or fragile, performer or recluse; but when someone connects to a song or photograph, laughs or sheds a tear from my written words, that brings a larger purpose to a small endeavour.

"I should not talk so much about myself if there were anybody else whom I know as well.....I trust that none will stretch the seams in putting on the coat, for it may do good service to him whom it fits." Henry David Thoreau, Walden

The posts below drift on their own breezes. Some of them contain songs, videos or nature photography. If you'd like to explore any of those beyond the posts, I invite you to use the links to YouTube and Instagram below, or spend some time on the Listen (Music) page of the website.

If we share common interests or something here sparks your curiosity, I hope you'll consider your time well-spent and know that I appreciate it.

I can make no promises other than sincerity of effort. 😊🙏🏼 Thank you.

A new year begins, catching up
