Not many posts this winter, I've been busy writing poetry and the endless manuscript that's fun to work on but may forever be unfinished business, along with other wintery projects.

Oh, and did I mention Mike and I finished another new album this winter?! Under our band name “Sunset Smoke” the album is called The C-Sides = a selection of originals and covers. You can listen to that for free on the “Listen” page. Hope you enjoy that as much as we enjoyed recording it!
It hasn't been a great winter for getting outside but we finally got to the woods to check the trail camera this week and some nice surprises there. We have a fisher that hangs out around our pond now, a delight to see and worthy of its own post when I get to it. We've seen a river otter before but never so close up! And then there's the coyotes and fox and deer and owl… A busy spot, our little beaver pond (no beavers this time they must be busy)
