Love day. Not everyone's favourite holiday, but if you're lucky enough to have a special love in your life, that's something to celebrate any day of the year.
There's a special appreciation for finding love again in mid-life, when you're not actively looking for it, but haven't quite given up on it either. Romance is wonderful (and if you can't spontaneously tango in the kitchen then what's the point?) but mature love isn't always about saying it with flowers, or having to work too hard at it. Sometimes it's just about all the little things you do for the person you love, from cooking a nice meal to taking out the trash. That's what we wrote this song about. "There'll always be sweet love songs to sing, but whaddya do for love?"
Hope you enjoy the song! We could feel some old Motown influences coming through on this one - it's a little catchy, maybe you'll find yourself singing along.
